"Ambulance service rude people"

On Friday 5th April I woke up with a sharp pain in my head neck shoulder and back. I was unable to move the right sad of my body. I called my surgery but it was still closed and their answer machine referred me to 111.

My son talked with the person at 111, he answered many questions about my condition and they, the 111 decided to send an ambulance.

Then ambulance arrived immediately but the men came into my house laughing at my home and making disrespectful comments about me and my son. We are Spanish speaker but we communicate very well in English. The men said I was not in a life emergency, I agreed and I explained that I have called my surgery and 111. They asked me if I wanted to go to the hospital I said yes because my pain was extremely intense.

I was laying down, unable to move on my own. The men asked me to stand up without offering to me any help. I tried crying of pain but instead of helping me they hurried me up. My son who is just 20 years old asked them who could them be so insensitive. Finally the men helped me to move. They didnt comfort us in any moment and their behaviour was rude and insensible,

When we complained at hospital the staff said "please dont take this personal, number 111 makes many mistakes"

I wonder how people who work in an ambulance service can be so rude, insensitive and disrespectful? What is their problem? My race? The 111 mistake?
