Anything else?
I was admitted to ward 31 after becoming unwell after recent surgery. I was in a room with 3 other ladies. I did not have a very good experience at all during this stay, it was very disappointing! The food was atrocious, there was hardly anything on the menu i felt I could eat, this was made worse by the fact that I was nauseous all the time. i was given different information about my condition by different people and I felt that the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing! I was asked to provide a urine specimen. I filled the specimen cup and informed the nursing staff several dozen times that it was on my table yet it was not collected for 2 days after which it was no good. this also happened to the lady next to me. All the staff kept saying was "in a minute". I was spoken to very rudely by one member of staff, when I was helping another lady get something out of her bag. I witnessed the same member of staff speaking disrespectfully to several people. I had to help other patients get to the toilet as the nurses were too busy. All in all a terrible experience!
"A poor experience!"
