Anything else?
I would like to thank all the staff at NMGH Crumpsall who were involved in my hernia operation. It was my first experience of this hospital and as someone who is a bit nervous of hospitals I would like to thank everyone for their reassuring nature and professionalism.
The reception staff were efficient and welcoming. The consultants were thorough and clearly explained everything. The nursing staff were very helpful and kind too.
On the day of my procedure, the nursing staff were just great. They took away all my stress and were friendly, attentive and professional. The anaethetists, the recovery staff and everyone I came in contact with (including the general office for a private chest X-ray a few days earlier) - everyone deserves a big thank you.
I often think that when things go well (which is the vast majority of the time in all hosiptals), people forget to thank the hard-working staff who make it all happen without stress and reassure people, in what is often a worrying experience of having an operation. Unfortunately, a few people only want to focus on the very few occasions when things don't go 100% smoothly.
I hope this goes a little way to make the staff of NMGH feel appreciated and valued as health professionals. You were all marvellous!
Thank you all very much.
"Friendly and reassuring staff"
