I left a very positive review over a week ago in difficult circumstances as my dad was in a serious condition and it looked pretty grim.

He had been admitted to ward B5 initially - and we were extremely happy with the level of care and the compassion on this ward. After complications he had to be transferred to the High Dependency Unit G3 - and again the level of care and compassion was amazing, he survived and the fantastic care he received enabled him to...

He has since been returned to Ward B5 - and he has come on in leaps and bounds - despite his condition of an aggressive stomach tumour - he has now improved so much that he is comfortable and had all his intravenous tubes removed, they have got him out of bed, which in itself was very difficult to start with, the staff on Ward B5 keep him cheerful and positive- and attend to him impeccably - we have total trust in them - everyone is simply remarkable - from his surgeon to absolutely all the staff with no exceptions - What a credit they all are to the NHS! - They deserve an award - I know he feels the same - All my family are so grateful to all those on Ward B5, they are a great team.

To all the extraordinary people who work on Ward B5 - You are all totally appreciated - and you do an amazing job that so few others could do... It now looks like my dad could actually return home in the next few days which was beyond hope a few days ago.. A Thank you.. is not enough.
