"Incredible Maternity Services at QEQM"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Anything else?

I was admitted to the Kingsgate Ward 4 weeks ago in order to be induced due to complications in my pregnancy. I was apprehensive at first as I did not want to have a long stay in hospital, however from the moment I arrived on the ward the level of service I received was incredible. During my 6 day stay, I encountered the most professional and caring service.

From the consultants and midwives, right through to the ladies who bought me cups of tea, my care was amazing and I could not have asked for anything more.

My baby daughter was delivered 4 weeks early and had to spend 8 days on the Special Care Baby Unit. I am in awe of their knowledge and professionalism and the time they took to reassure and care for not only my daughter but both my husband and I.

Thank you QEQM for making what could have been a scary and daunting time into a positive experience. If you are an expecting mother I wholeheartedly recommend QEQM.

We cannot thank you enough,

Andy and Maria Freeman
