My Grandfather was admitted to Rowsley Ward and ended up spending his final few weeks there. The staff on the ward were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that at all times my Granddad was well looked after.

When we knew that he wouldn't be coming home again, they even allowed a visit from his beloved dogs - something that I know pleased him very much.

The staff not only ensured Granddad was ok but they also made sure that the visiting family members were looked after (regularly being asked if we wanted drinks or lunch/tea). It was an incredibly difficult time for us as a family however the kindness and respect shown by all members of the medical team on Rowsley could not be faulted.

I can not express enough just how much we appreciated all the staffs help and support throughout the whole process and if you or any family member are being admitted to Rowsley ward, you will be treated with wonderful care.
