Anything else?
My husband was admitted to the hospital in January 2013 and was an inpatient for 11 days on the stroke rehab ward.
He was under the care of two doctors and he was being treated for a rare neurological condition.
As a nurse myself, I am very alert to standards of care, and I can only express my thanks and gratitude for the excellent care my husband received.
It was thorough, caring and professional.
From assessment in A and E, where he was seen by a G.P. trainee, who was kind, gentle and reassuring, to the nurses, the specialist stroke nurse, and Doctors on the ward, - I really cannot fault them. They were great.
He was made comfortable and we always felt reassured that he was receiving excellent, well considered care.
I was also impressed by the general efficient running of the hospital, the cleanliness and the competent supportive staff.
It was also great to have pastoral support from the attached clergy. Thank you. It made such a difference.
He has just been seen in out-patients for a 'follow-up' and again we have been so impressed by the unhurried and informative attitude of the both consultants.
We are so very grateful.
Thank you.
