Heartfelt thanks to everyone and all on Darwen ward.

All my life I have suffered with claustrophobia and just the very thought of entering a lift fills me with dread. I would like to thank Sherrie for her support in helping me overcome my biggest fear and also a special mention for Tara, who supported Sherrie in her efforts to help me, thank you.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the ward staff for their care and support during my stay here. In particular, I would like to single out nursing assistant Lisa for her dedication to patients and there needs and always been there for us all. She is a wonderful, caring person. Thank you Lisa.

To all the staff - the care, help and support you have afforded me has been truly amazing.

I will be forever in your debt for giving me my life back and hope you will all be proud of my achievements very soon.

It is important our staff hear what you valued most during your stay on the ward.
