About: Pontefract General Infirmary

Anything else?

My husband had hurt his arm a few days ago and so we had to come into A&E. We wern't registered having newly moved to the area but the lady at the receoptionist regustered us immediately. When asking how long it would be, she did advise they can't give a time but they are extremely busy! I was expecting a 4 hour wait at the least but was really happy to say that we were seen within an hour and 15 minutes! All patients were seen in order and althoguh there wasn't much staff to be seen at 10pm we were so glad we were not having to wait hours in a place which is known normally to be quite depressing.

Thanks guys and keep up the good work.
