"Rude doctor"

About: Hammersmith Hospital

Anything else?

I was one time I cough for 3 weeks, perhaps a bad cold or ...Pt allergies, as I work in Precious refinery. I cough very heavy and almost suffocate. I watch TV there is an advert that if you cough for 3 weeks should seek advise. So I went straight to hospital near work. I also print out the details from NHS website saying this hospital A and E can treat cough. So I went. When I wait for 45 minutes and then being seen. A doctor looks like very depressed or relutant to see anyone(If you have a bad mood don't take it out on me, is not my problem, you should be more professional). I told them I have a cough and tell them all the detail, they weren't listening and keep asking what's got to do with it(in a very rude emotion). I am a sensible person, I am not a person come to have a chat with you got no job to do. I said I work in Pt refinery, then they said"so what". I said there might be Pt allergies, as I cough a lot, eventually they said they can't help me and just do some blood pressure test and ask me to go to my GP. I said my GP is on holiday. If I could have an appointment with my GP I won't come to you, and actually my GP is hardly booked. Luckily I have occupational health nurse at work, as he works as a workmate so he give me advice. Nowsaday saying NHS close the A and E. I am glad because if there is so much rubbish not doing their job properly, why waste electricity or energy to give some rubbish job even they have qualification but not behave as qualified? Close the rubbish A and E and leave the quality one I would be more appreciated.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is sorry to hear about your experience at Hammersmith Hospital in 2011. Although A & E facilities are being reconfigured in North West London it is proposed that the GP run Urgent Care Centre on the Hammersmith site will continue to provide health services for those who cannot easily access their GP.
