I booked in for an operation at the Spire Bristol Hospital.
I went to the loo and saw a large blood stain running down the basin. There was also a crack in the lavatory bowl and as time went on it got worse. I have photographic evidence of it all and friends were shocked when I put them on Facebook.
I have had better treatment on the NHS at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, where the staff seemed like they actually cared.
The room was so awful that I have asked AXA/PPP not to pay for the numerous H&S problems of this substandard room at the Spire Hospital Bristol.
"Dirty with blood on basin, cracks on loo etc and it was private!"
