I had total knee replacement surgery on. Friday 8th March at Emersons Green Treatment Center. I could not give enough praise to the whole team at the Center the surgical team where extremely help full and I was kept informed of what was going to happen and what each procedure would achieve prior to the procedure. I was a little nervouse as to the type of anesthetic that I was going to have (spinal) the procedure was explained an all my fears were put to rest. After my operation I was in the recovery suite where I was looked after by the staff and given tea and biscuits which was very much appreciated .

Then back tothewarsto continue my recovery and meet the nurses who would look after me. They were all really brilliant and only to willing to help.

The food was very good and served by the catering staff with a smile and a kind word for every one. This made my short stay all the more enjoyable, I have had a call from the centre to see if I have had any problems since my discharge which I thought was a nice thing for them to do.
