I was discharged 8/3/13 after removal of a large lump and total hysterectomy. Ward clean; staff v.busy but efficient; food v.good, fresh, hot and tasty - shame I had no appetite.

Discharge could have been better. Guidance on medication prescibed would have been appreciated as would a few minutes chat regarding what to expect once home. Totally unprepared for some of the immediate effects of the surgery. A little information would have been helpful and saved a lot of worry for me and my husband.

1st class care from my consultant who was professional, positive, cheerful and confident at all times making me feel happy to be in her care.
