Response from Julie Pearce, Chief Nurse + Director of Quality + Operations, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust We are preparing to make a change

Chloe thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience of our minor injury/ illness service. I am glad that you were seen and treated within 4 hours. QEQM has been particularly busy over the last few weeks and so I am sorry that you had to wait 3 hours to see a nurse practitioner. Staff aim to see people more quickly, however at peak times it can be a challenge.

I will feedback to staff that you found some parts of the department untidy. Again I have a feeling that it may have related to the numbers of people been seen at the time.

I hope you are fully recovered.
