My experience of this hospital is nothing short of awful. You have to ask for everything at least 3 times - and when this is about pain relief and you are in severe pain its simply unacceptable. Patient care is not a priority. The staff dont work well together - I was near the nurses station and after every shift changeover heard the staff abusing the standard of the previous shifts handover - in some cases getting very personal and using bad language. The staff dont seem to realise that patients are ill and sometimes scared and largely ignore them - not engaging with them more interested in carrying on their personal conversations. There were a couple of really good nurses - for which i was grateful - however I wouldnt send my goldfish into there for treatment.
