I'll be honest I attended Dewsbury Hospital yesterday with trepidation as I have had so many problems with the Administration & Appointment side of my ongoing problem since last October which sadly has caused me to make a formal complaint - but I can say with all truthfulness that the Consultant In Gynaecology was absolutely wonderful - She put me at ease immediately & I am truly grateful that she will be carrying out my ongoing treatment - its such a shame that the co - ordination within the group lets itself down I.e I get signed off from one department & then receive an appointment 10 days later to attend the the same appointment in a different hospital - Waste of resources - someone else could have had that appointment who was in desperate need - These two women are truly an asset to the NHS - Dewsbury Hospital may not be a new modern unit like Pinderfields & initially I would have always chosen the New Pinderfields but not now - I have even decided to wait for a Further appointment until June in order to go to Dewsbury - Well done to the Receptionist in Gyne Yesterday - A bubbly happy lady who made all the difference by greeting you with a laugh and a smile

Well Done Dewsbury - I can now relax as I await surgery later in the year as I have no doubts at all that the Consultant & her team will treat me with Dignity & Respect & I Thankyou you on behalf of myself & my husband for yesterday x
