Anything else?
I had the pleasure of having knee surgery in 2012. The outpatient clinic was very busy and the wait to be seen extraordinarily long however the staff were all courteous kind and polite despite the fact that they must have been under a great deal of pressure. The consultant I saw was kind courteous and efficient. A date was arranged for my surgery and this fitted well with my work arrangements. The inpatient experience was excellent with an efficient and friendly clerking process which set the tone for the rest of the stay. The ward was clean and I was seen efficiently by all appropriate team members. Discharge home went smoothly. The follow up clinic was similarly hectic but again all staff were brilliant. One disappointment was that the knee was still not right at my review following surgery and left the department believing that I was stuck with a dodgy leg. A further SOS follow up would have been nice if things did not settle rather than needing a fresh GP referral. Saying that a month or so later (3 months post op) the knee settled down overnight. I am well pleased and would definitely entrust my health care and that of my family to ths brilliant establishment.
"Good experience"
