"Paramedics couldn't have been more helpful"

I called my Doctor who told me to call an ambulance. I remembered 111 and called them instead. I couldn't breathe as I was choking. They called an ambulance who were there in no time at all. The paramedic was very good. He came and checked my pulse and did other checks. My chest infection was at its' peak and he couldn't have been more helpful. Another paramedic came and stayed with me all morning. My temperature came down and they made me a cup of tea. They gave me the option of going into hospital but I thought they were only going to send me home and I didn't want to take up a bed. I'm 90 this month and I live on my own. I felt very contented and calm when they left. They really listened to me.
