"Scaphoid fracture"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

(as the patient),

Having fractured my scaphoid at the weekend I was transferred to the uhns for a quicker appointment at the fracture clinic. From my initial presentation at reception, through to Kevin Smith, the hand surgeon, on to operation I will have had contact with well over 40 varying members of staff. Without exception every single person that I came into contact with was courteous, helpful and respectful. This includes, reception staff, nurses, radiographers, surgeons, anaesthetists, porters, basically the whole system. This ethos within the hospital will not have happened by chance. Thank you to all involved and congratulations on a great hospital

Dear Dai the back,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your visit to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

It is very rewarding for all staff to hear that the high standards we set ourselves are leading to positive experiences for our patients.

I will share these thoughts with the rest of the team to make them aware of your excellent feedback.
