"My care on the Acute Medical Unit"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

Anything else?

My short visit was on 28/02/2013 until 01/03/2013. I can't thank the nurses enough who looked after me. I was very distressed at one stage and a nurse stopped to hold my hand and give me comfort which could not have been more appreciated at that moment. I was finding it difficult to breath and was in agony due to pneumonia and it was a frightening experience. The same nurse went off and got me an ice cold orange juice and helped me drink it. She didnt have to do that, but took time out to make me more comfortable. What a lovely person. That moment has stuck with me and I am a person who hates the idea of staying in hospital, the nurses in that department who looked after me changed that! I do hope that kind nurse sees this and knows how much better she made me feel. Thank you very much!
