In May of this year, I was a patient in the Day Surgery at the Northern General hospital for the removal of a suspected lipoma. The standard of care I received from the medical staff was very good - I particularly appreciated the respect shown to me by the surgeon and theatre staff, as I was treated as a person and not just another case.
