Anything else?
When arriving at A&E at around 4:00am, the lady on reception (whose name I didn't catch) was fab. After signing me in she went and fetched a wheelchair and took me into the A&E dept. I hadn't once mentioned how much pain I was in or asked for extra assistance, she knew what was wrong and wanted to help, I'm so grateful she took the time to do that.
Unfortunately once in A&E I was left for around an hour in a cubicle in a lot of pain and other issues I don't care to mention. I did have to shout to a member staff to see me which I feel embarrassed about but it did work and after being seen and given blood tests etc, staff realised that I needed urgent attention and I was swiftly dealt with.
The ward I went onto was fantastic, attentive staff, and excellent quality of care. I truly couldn't fault the lovely doctors, nurses, HCA's, cleaners and caterers who looked after me. All of these people couldn't do enough for me.
"I wouldn't be worried if returning in the future"
