"Treatment in A & E"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

Anything else?

Two weeks ago I broke my ankle, following a fall and ended up being treated in A & E after a referral from the Walk-in Centre at Ashford hospital. On arrival the X-ray had been pre booked and I was seen within a very reasonable time. The staff were all professional and efficient. Whilst there, my husband who had accompanied me, became unwell and they ended up giving him an extremely thorough checkup, whilst still dealing with my injury, before giving him the all clear. It felt very traumatic at the time but we were both helped by the patience and humour shown to us by a very caring team. We cannot not fault the care and attention given to both of us that night.

Thank you for your kind words about our A&E team, which we will pass onto them. It sounds like you had a traumatic evening with both you and your husband being unwell, but we are pleased to hear that you both felt well cared for and reassured by our staff.
