About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

Anything else?

My wife went here out of desperation. sent home with paracetamol.told was fine. My G.p told me next morning that i had severe throat infection and severe thrush from antibiotics. this does not come up over night. useless! This is also the dirtiest hospital i have ever seen. someone clean the toilets!!!! As for the reception, you lack interest in anything but your own gossip.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your recent experience. The Emergency Department team has been working exceptionally hard over recent weeks to care for large numbers of acutely ill patients and we are continuing to encourage those with less urgent conditions to make use of minor injury units, their own GP or to get advice from NHS Direct - 0845 46 47 - or a local pharmacy wherever possible. The GP out-of-hours service is also available for urgent but not life-threatening illness.

The toilets are checked and cleaned regularly but their condition can change quickly between cleaning schedules without our staff knowing. If anyone finds a problem we would ask them to alert a member of staff.
