After having broken my wrist, I attended A&E at the Northern General hospital last month. The standard of care which I was given was very good - the staff were very helpful and explained everything which was going to happen with regards to my treatment. I was treated very quickly and the staff were very supportive. They explained everything in detail.
The only problem I had was when they were admitting me to Theatre Admissions, they would not let my husband stay with me for support. This was my first time in theatre and I was a little apprehensive about it.
