My experience is with Addaction in Boston, Lincolnshire. My thoughts are that this place has saved me in many ways and I want them to get the recognition they deserve. My personal advisor has been just wonderful as I’m sure my poem (below) tells you. I’m on the mend, and slowly but surely looking forward to the future. Thank you Addaction.
She is simply my vis veres,
A huge influence on me
Not only does she not criticise
She most importantly listens to me
I couldn’t have coped without her support
It’s been life saving to me
Her time, her compassion and patience
Have been my saviour ultimately
When others haven’t listened
And nearly given up on me
She is there to comfort and console
And remind me repeatedly
That life will get better
It doesn’t happen over night
But with determination, strength and influence
I will eventually win this fight
I want to thank her personally
From the bottom of my heart
That everything she’s given me
Has meant the world from the start
