Anything else?
I have recently been discharged by HRI on a bout of suspected Meningitis...
I experienced a prolonged wait in the corridor of A&E. I was dealt with for the majority of the experience by foundation year 1 doctors i.e. newly qualified doctors who repeatedly had to seek further advice from seniors...
Then I was moved to AAU then after being looked after being looked well in AAU I was moved to Ward one where the nurses were run ragged flying about like headless chickens due to the lack of staff... Again under the care of F1 Doctors supervised by seniors. The only issue i had with this was the F1 Doctor was not listening to the requirement of the consultants and not carrying out their instruction which after a few days became very frustrating, especially when it was relating to the drugs I was on...
Just a note on the food... if you saw it... simply Awful!!!!!!!
In summary I came out alive so the result was not that bad i guess...
