"Emergency admission in Sheffield"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / General medicine Sheffield PCT

(as the patient),

I recently felt unwell well whilst traveling to work in the morning, again around lunchtime and again late afternoon, all three occasions I had what I considered "classic" heart attack symptoms.

I took myself to the Hallamshire and was admitted overnight to carry out tests and monitor my symptoms. I have to say that the treatment was first class and most reassuring, at what has to be said was a worrying time.

I am now undergoing thorough tests as it was not a heart attack, and my GP is determined to get to the bottom of what happened.

Well done to all the staff at the time, my GP practice and the Outpatients department, visited last week for further test. Keep up the good work.
