I found this system is cruel and unkind. Giving someone like me the hope of an appointment, then it actually being at a hospital in a place I’ve never been to is awful. I am elderly but young at heart, I am a full time carer for my disabled husband who can only be left for a shrot time. I have never learnt to drive. We don’t have a car or access to a lift. Buses takes hours there and back. Taxi would be at least £30 one way. What makes it worse is that Princess Royal Telford is 10 minutes easy walk away from home. I have now been waiting since August with all the worry and my husband’s anxiety.
