Anything else?
Step 1: Lose the letter we handed you from the WiC within 5 minutes of us arriving at MAU
Step 2: Fail to offer a drink for 3 hours
Step 3: Failure to explain what was happening
Step 4: Following admission at 1am failure to provide a water jug or any other drink until 7am
Step 5: After marking patient not able to mobilise alone failed to offer any assistance for moving
Step 6: Rapid exit from room by HCA when patient started crying because no-one would say what was happening. No explanation of the process offered even when directly asked
Step 7: Assumptions made about sexuality
Step 8: Despite recording Agnostic offered Holy Communion
Not to mention handover meeting conducted where other patients could hear details of cases (enabling us to identifying a fellow patient as someone living on the same street). Nowhere to get coffee all evening. Nowhere to by sanitary products when pt admitted.
I am an NHS employee at another organisation and I am disgusted to be associated with the NHS at all after this weekend.
