I have just attended Hexham Hospital as an outpatient. However, I picked up on the good atmosphere, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. As someone who lives in Carlisle and who has little faith in the NHS services in Cumbria, I am just delighted to find somewhere good on our doorstep.

Just to let you know, if you are not already aware, we are in the process of acquiring North Cumbria University Hospitals Trust , which includes Cumberland Infirmary . We are working closely with our colleagues in North Cumbria to provide high standards of care. We hope that, in the not too distant future, your confidence will be reinstated in the services there.
