Anything else?
Came to the hospital for a gallbladder removal. At each stage (ultrasound, outpatient appointment with surgeon, pre op assessment and surgery) I received excellent care. All of the staff were friendly and clearly explained everything to me in language that I could understand. I have a few ongoing health issues and I was impressed that all of the staff I met were aware of these - it was clear that they had carefully consulted my notes before seeing me. I was particularly impressed with the care I received on the day of my operation. The nurses and operating staff were very professional and I felt that I was in good hands. I suffered from some post op sickness and the nurses were very kind to me and kept a close eye on me until I was well enough to go home.
Obviously having an operation isn't something you want to do too often, but I would certainly have no concerns about coming to Harrogate Hospital again if I ever need treatment in the future.
