Took a toddler to and Northampton AE at 2040 after he went limp and had a huge rash come up, upon arrival he threw up violently in reception area.

2110 seen by a nurse who took us through to a kids waiting area, this area had at least 8 other waiting kids/parents.

2130 another nurse comes and looks him over

Nothing now happens for 2 hours 10 mins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At 2340 we took our 3 year old son home totally disgusted in the lack of communcation and the total absence off care.

The nurse was amazed that after 3 hours we were deciding to take a now sleeping child home .

If this is the best the nhs can offer god help all in northampton as they were beyond useless and disinterested.
