Lovely Nursing staff on Wards 62/63, Doctors and Consultants explained everything, Anesthetist funny and really put me at ease (even though I didn't take nail varnish off, eek!).

Woke in loads of pain and was looked after really well, all staff really sincere even though they were obviously very busy. Domestic staff very kind and kept me topped up with plenty of cups of tea and jugs of water.

Single rooms are a definite bonus (was in the old St Mary's and that was loud, smelly & decrepit) and afford patients some peace and quiet for sleep post-surgery.

From seeing my consultant on 2nd Jan 2013, I was home after my procedure on 24th January 2013 - very quick turnaround, can literally not find anything to complain about.

This hospital is excellent and will be more than happy to go back (which I will have to).
