My wife, who suffers from vascular Dementia was admiited to Wexham Park on Tuesday evening and from the moment she arrived in A&E, they way in which she has been handled by the various members of the medical and nursing staff has been first class.

Being in a state of confusion due to the Dementia condition, adds an additional burden to the already overworked nursing teams, but they take it in their stride and have shown extreme understanding and compassion. They have also been in regular contact with me by phone, enabling me to go to the hospital at short notice to assist in providing a familiar face in unfamiliar surroundings.

Well done and thank you to all the team in A&E, the AMU unit and in ward 5.
