In March of this year, I was a patient on ward 34E at the Barnsley District General hospital for a hip replacement. The standard of care I received was very good, and I was particularly impressed with the aftercare I was given following the operation. The nursing staff and the cleaning staff were also great. It was a good feeling to be in a ward where I could enjoy myself with other patients and the nursing staff.
