"Poor bedside manner"

I recently visited gynaecology and saw a consultanat. While they may be very experienced and knowledgeable clinically, I found their manner abrupt and rather odd when interacting on a personal basis and thought their 'bedside manner' in need of improvement. I saw a different consultant on another visit and found them the exact opposite and can only praise their skills and manner in dealing with patients.
