Collapsed at home in Staithes on New Years Eve, rapid response & ambulance arrived in record time. Taken to A & E where staff did immediate tests to stabilise me & determine my treatment.
Admitted to ward 24 for around the clock monitoring which resulted in me needing brain surgery.
The surgeon and his team carried out my operation on 15/1/13, due to their excellant work the operation was a total sucess so i was allowed home Friday 18th January.
My post op meeting confirmed no further surgery is required only reqular scans as is standard with my condition.
Many thanks to all involved at James Cook Hospital for their excellant care and attention.
