"Good care at Doncaster Royal Infirmary"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary Rotherham Hospital

(as the patient),

I was taken by ambulance to Rotherham District General hospital after suffering from a severe nose bleed and having lost a significant amount of blood. The young doctor who packed my nose was not the gentlest person.

It was decided to transfer me to Doncaster Royal Infirmary that evening. I saw a very efficient doctor there, and before long, I was taken to ward S12. I had complete bed rest for 2 days before the laser treatment was carried out.

I would certainly have no fear of being a patient at Doncaster again. Even the food was quite good.

Well done!

We are sorry that your visit was not as it should have been. We always strive to give the best care possible. In this instance we would be pleased if you could contact the Matron for the A&E department, Rose Davis who will look into your case and respond to and learn from your concerns.
