"non caring out patients consultant"

About: Southport & Formby District General Hospital

Anything else?

After being in hospital a couple of weeks before i attended the out patients depatment on the 25/1/2013 as a follow up appointment, I saw the consultant who asked how i was feeling ,,i told just as bad as when i first came to the hospital, His only words where i am discharginh you !! The consultant did not even check my blood pressure or sound my heart or lungs.

I knew there was someing wrong because i have my own blood pressure machine at home which was recording a bottom line of over 100 fig like 118 over 210, 120 over 192 so i knew there was something and by the way i was feeiling.

The weekend came and the pain in my lungs got worse, breathing problems got worse.

My wife rang the doctors on monday 28/1/2013 explaing i was very ill ,the first appointment she could obtain was wednesday 30/1/2013 at 9am.!!

On tuesday night the pain in my back got more severe and the breathing problems increased,

My wife rang the NHS Direct Line there advice was to send an ambulance.

First to arrive was a Doctor took less than 2 mins. to find my problem. The ambulance arrived within a couple of mins. and i was taken to Southport Hospital.

So to sum up i got my treatment some 5 days later after seeing the hospital consultant .

on the 29/1/2013. Who even tho i had informed him that i was not feeling very well and just the same as when i was admitted a couple of weeks before the consultant chose to discharge me why ?
