"A terrible experience"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Anything else?

If I could give a rating of zero stars I would. This has to be the worst hospital I have ever encountered. They have no concept of care, they give no information to patients and treat them worse than most people would treat a household pet. I am still to understand how a specialist neurology department is unable to diagnose a stroke in five days. If you have any choice in the matter please, please, please choose another hospital to save yourselves from the heartache and hassle my family and I have had to go through.

Response from Queen's Hospital

Dear Mr Woodwards,

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns about your experience of the Neurology Department at Queen’s Hospital.

I was very concerned to read about your experience in the Neurology Department and would appreciate the opportunity of looking into the points you have raised. It would be useful if you could provide some more information to enable an investigation to take place into these concerns.

I would be grateful if you could contact the Patient Advice & Liaison Services (PALS) on 01708 435454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk to discuss these concerns who will be happy to help

Yours sincerely,

Gary Etheridge

Deputy Director of Nursing
