Quick review, I've recently had laparoscopy surgery and a stay in ward 14, the majority of my experience was fine and was happy with most experiences, the surgeon's and doctors where good, then there's some nurses that don't seem very happy to be there, they don't have time for you and your lucky to see them, if needed you have to buzz and wait, then they don't seem very pleased. I found some nurses and carers very nice and pleasant, but it's a shame there's the others who spoil it and make you feel a burden! You have to ask for things all the time and when your in pain or have concerns it takes them ages to get back to you! I left without any after care information and no one answers the telephone when I ring to ask advice! I'm sure nursing was about Caring for patients?
