An elderly friend was admitted to Ward 1 with heart failure and stayed in for 2 weeks while her condition was brought under control. The nursing staff in particular were attentive and sensitive to her personal attention. Despite it obviously being a vey busy ward when we phoned in we always got a current situation report and our friend was told when anyone phoned.
