Anything else?
I was treated as a day case for multiple stab avulsions of varicose veins in December. The courtesy, consideration and friendlines shown by the staff was first class. This was a perfect match for the treatment and care I received. My outpatient follow up appointment was scheduled for February i.e. this month however I received a personal phone call from the consultant asking how I was following my procedure and also asking if I considered it necessary to be seen in outpatients. As I was fine and recovering very well, I said it wasn't necessary for me to attend OP, which released the appointment for someone else. I subsequently received a follow-up letter from the consultant a few days later. I cannot emphasise enough how impressed I was that all of this communication was undertaken by the consultant instead of being delegated to someone else.
