"Unbearably painful breast scan"

I have never been for a breast scan before and had no expectations. The nurse turned up the compression to be as tight as it would go, then turned it up even more just for the end bit. It was utterly agonising and i began to feel sick. She asked for someone to get me a glass of water and that person then said they would come in to assist. The final scan she took was nowhere near as painful as the first three. I dont think the other three scans should have been that painful.
