I was diagnosed at Sunderland Royal on 14/12/12 and operated on on 16/1/13. I was on ward C33 and I cannot speak more highly of the Oral Maxillo Facial Team, the surgeons and nursing staff as well as the cleaning staff were all brilliant, friendly, professional, caring and exemplary in how they treated me. I was allocated a specialist Head and Neck Macmillan Nurse who guided me through the stormy waters of having a cancer diagnosis and provided help, advice, encouragement and support throughout. I have nothing but thanks, praise and admiration for how I was treated.
