"slow care in A&E and exorbitant parking charges"

Whilst working in the garden my wife got injured

we rushed to hospital, taking about 30 mins, to nearest A&E .

I dropped my wife at A&E and went to park.

After registering it took 2 hours to see the triage nurse, another 1/2 hour wait, at least to see the 'doctor' who fixed my wife up. and finally we left the hospital after over 3 hours , which managed to get us into the £5 parking charge, instead of £3

So in addition to wasting 4 hours we have to pay £5 for the privilege.

Due to the location of the hospital i cannot see any justification in the exorbitant charges , they are not there to deter non-hospital attendees from parking there.

My wife was happy with the attention she received eventually, but if it wasn't for the towel she had wrapped round her hand when we left home, she would have been sitting in a pool of blood, genuinely!
