I am extremely pleased with the service I received at the GWH Opthalmology Department. On being referred by my GP, I was able to book an appointment just two weeks away using Choose-And-Book online. I arrived early for my appointment but nevertheless was seen in just a few minutes, and although I required a number of tests by a number of nurses, I had almost no waiting time between each one. The nurses were extremely polite and professional, and the doctor I saw explained my situation very patiently, clearly and in terms I could understand. A follow-up appointment a week or so later was just as professional. Happily I needed no further treatment, but if I do so in the future I will feel confident about choosing this modern clean hospital.
