Anything else?
My mother was admtted on 24/01/2013 at 9pm in a confused state. She is 84 years old. we were not kept informed. At 3am after a cursory examination she was wheeled out to my son in laws car; yes the temperature was sub zero. If I had been unable to take her to my house she would have had to wait until an ambulance was available to transport her home. She was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and handed a course of antibiotics... She was not aware and could have been handed space dust. They just wanted her off the premises. What a shocking indicment of todays society: this is a lady who has worked all of her life. May I add that this is also the hospital where my Father was admitted in April 1994 and diagnosed with a minor stroke; discharged with an aspirin and within an hour readmitted with a fatal stroke. Nice work QE
