"Maternity care , excellent staff"

About: Kettering General Hospital

Anything else?

Went to the maternity unit to continue labour to find out my baby was and undiagnosed breach.

I was given a full list of options and encouraged to make my own decision on how I wanted to proceed with the birth, although the doctor gave me their medical opinion to help me make my decision best I could. After all the advise and facts I opted for a c section.

As soon as I made my decision the staff swiftly went into action peeping me for surgery, I was nervous but the were so relaxed and professional or put my mind to rest.

I was kept informed of the procedures the entire time and the staff were so jolly and professional I knew I was in good hands.

I went to the maternity ward just after 6pm and by 7.50 my baby boy was delivered in really can not commend and praise the staff enough.

The 2 days I spent in hospital afterwards was also good, although really pushed and busy the staff were always helpful and attentive.

The ward was clean but very dated and tired.

In short the maternity staff and those whim carried out my c section get 10 out of 10 very nice caring people.
